Carolina Assad's first solo album. Produced by Odair and Fá Assad, with arrangements by Clarice Assad (who also performs on piano), the album also features a special guest appearance by the celebrated Rio de Janeiro-born composer and singer Guinga.
Recorded live in Brussels in 2004, this project celebrates the musical union of three generations of the Assad Family. On stage were the family's patriarchs Seu Jorge and Dona Ica, siblings Sérgio, Odair, and Badi, as well as Sérgio's children — Clarice and Rodrigo — and Odair's daughter, Carolina, who made her recording debut here.
Features the special guest pianist Clarice Assad. A tribute to jazz fusion, this track explores expansive harmonies and adventurous improvisation.
